Covid-19: Lowest daily deaths logged in 7 months

In the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Thursday) 12 more people have died from coronavirus in the country. This is the lowest death recorded in a single day in the last seven months.

Earlier, the lowest deaths from Covid-19 in a single day was recorded on March 17, with 11 deaths.

In the last 24 hours, 663 new patients have been identified. During this period a total of 22 thousand 321 samples were tested. The daily  patient identification rate stands at 2.97 percent.

The latest Covid-19 situation was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine daily statement on Thursday evening.
