The 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Preliminary Examination begins at 10 am Friday (October 29).
The test will continue till 12 noon. Preliminary examinations are being held in the capital Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh.
According to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), they have received 4,35,190 applications for the 43rd BCS. In a notification PSC said, the 43rd BCS examination will take 1,814 officers in different cadres in this BCS.
Of these, 300 will be appointed in administration cadre, 100 in police cadre, 25 in foreign cadre, 843 for education cadre, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs and 19 in cooperatives.
