Bangladesh U-16 Chess team earned 8 points after the 7th round matches of the FIDE World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad now being held in Eindhoven, Netherlands on Thursday.
In the 7th round matches on Thursday morning, Bangladesh team lost to Netherlands-1 by 1.5-2.5 game points, reports UNB.
In the day`s 7th round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh beat FM Han Yichen of Ntherlans-1, WFM Wadifa Ahmed of Bangladesh drew with Verheij Dana of Netherlands-1 while CM Md. Sajidul Haque and CM Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh lost to FM De Winter Arthur and Prajit Sai Kumar of Netherlands-1 respectively.
In the 8th round matches on Thursday afternoon, Bangladesh team playing with Kazakhstan-5 team.
