Former Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Saber Hossain Chowdhury termed his successor Nazmul Hasan Papon as the most unfit president of the BCB.
“Bangladesh took part in four world cup tournaments during Papon’s tenure. The situation is worsening day by day. The longest president of the BCB is the worst president at the same time. The failure always belongs to the person who runs the cricket. It is very shameful for us that we have a barefaced cricket board,” Saber Hossain tweeted on Friday (November 5).
The cricket-loving nation has grilled the cricket board and other relevant officials for the unexpected performance of the Bangladesh cricket team during the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.
Amid the blast of T20 WC performance, the former BCB boss slammed the incumbent Papon for his hold on the board for a long time.
Earlier, former Tiger skipper Mashrafe Mortaza said, from the cricketers to all the people who represent the red and green cannot spare their responsibility.
