Bangladeshi film producer Khorshed Alam Khasru has recently expressed his interest to make a biopic on recently under-fire heroine Pori Moni. He told these to Bangladeshi media outlets on August 20.
Khasru said that if Pori Moni agrees to his proposal then he wants to produce her biopic and wants to cast Pori to play her own character.
He also said that he will officially approach Pori Moni with this proposal once she is released on bail.
Previously, the Dhallywood starlet Pori, whose real name is Shamsunnahar Smrity, became the talk of the nation when she started a Facebook live video from her verified page on August 4 and claimed that many people came to her house and tried to enter forcibly. She claimed in that live video that she informed the local law enforcement several times but they had not arrived to help her.
She locked herself in her room during her sensational Facebook live session. When journalists arrived at the scene it was finally revealed that Bangladesh Police’s elite anti-crime and anti-terrorism unit Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) went to conduct a raid at her home in the capital’s Banani area.
The 31-minute-long Facebook live session received more than 48 million views. Her Banani home raid drama’s live video is currently one of the most-watched Facebook live videos around the globe.
The live video ended when law enforcement officers finally entered and began the raid in her home. RAB, later on, claimed that a huge score of alcohol and drugs were recovered from the raid. She is currently under investigation in several cases under Bangladesh’s narcotics act.
