At least Fifteen people were injured in a clash between two groups of Chattogram University Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Friday.
The assistant proctor of CU, SM Ziaul Islam said Bijoy Group and VX Group got involved in a fight when the latter tried to write the name of their group after erasing the name of Bijoy Group on the walls of the hall on Friday morning.
Both groups equipped with sticks and sharp weapons took position in front of the hall around 9 pm.
A chase and counter chase took place, where a number of crude bombs were exploded leaving 15 people injured.
The injured were taken to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital.
On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
