Metro will operate in every eight minutes during peak hours

Beginning on February 17, metro rail officials will boost trip frequency in order to meet the growing passenger demand.

According to MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), trains will run every eight minutes during peak hours and every ten to twelve minutes during off-peak hours. 

This information was provided to media on Thursday.

According to DMTCL, trains currently run every 10 minutes during peak hours (7:10 am to 11:30 am), every 12 minutes during off-peak hours (11:31 am to 4:00 pm), and every 10 minutes during peak hours (from 4:01 pm to 8:00 pm).
