Amid great enthusiasm the three-day long Brac Hope Festival has started at Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday (February 9).
Being organized as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the institution, various events were held on the first day keeping the motto ‘Bangladesh in Heart’.
The festival ground was decorated with showcases of Brac’s development works, social business activities, investment, university and other entrepreneurship initiatives situated across the world.
Along with the inclusive zone open to all, the festival also has a special kid’s zone, said a press release.
The inaugural program included national anthem playing, a biographical documentary on the founder Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, classical and band songs and many others events.
