A fire broke out in a shoe factory in Chawkbazar Kamal Bagh of the capital, and 9 units of fire service deployed to control the fire. The situation was brought under control by 1:40 pm.
Rafi Al Farooq, the on-duty officer at the fire service headquarters, confirmed the incident, stating, "We received reports around one in the afternoon regarding a fire outbreak at a shoe factory in Kamal Bagh, located in the Showari ghat area of Chawkbazar. In response, we dispatched five units from Lalbagh, Palashi, and Hazaribagh to the scene."
He further added, "The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this early stage."
