Russian President Vladimir Putin has admitted that the first stage of a nuclear weapon has been installed in the neighboring country Belarus. He also said that it will be used if any region and state of Russia is threatened.
He said these things while speaking at the International Economic Forum organized in St. Petersburg on Friday local time.
In response to a question posed by the director of the forum about the possibility of using nuclear weapons, the Russian president said, “Why should we threaten the whole world? I have already said that we will take this extreme step only when there is any danger to the Russian state."
According to Putin, Ukraine`s military is out of equipment and the country has little prospect of succeeding in its ongoing counter-offensive against Russian forces. Kiev military will soon be forced to employ solely Western-donated equipment.
Warning Ukraine Putin said, "You (Ukrainians) can`t keep fighting like this for much longer, if Ukraine received any F-16 fighter jets, they would all be destroyed, there`s no doubt about it."
