Closure of educational institutions to contain the transmission of the Omicron variant of coronavirus will not be extended, said Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.
If the situation remains favourable, in-person classes will resume in scheduled time --- February 22, she added.
The minister made the disclosure while speaking to the press on Saturday afternoon after attending the closing ceremony of the International Model United Nations Conference organized by Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in the capital.
