DSE once again crossed Tk 700 crore after 1.5 months

Dhaka Stock Exchange is in a very positive position. After Eid, there are more buyers than sellers in the market. Due to this, the highest number of shares were exchanged after January 25 on Tuesday. The main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), has once again crossed Tk 700 crore. After more than a month and a half, on Tuesday, DSE was traded to the tune of Tk 713 crore. Before this, the last transaction of 727 crore taka was made in the Dhaka market on March 6.

The main DSEX index increased by 11 points at 6,264 points. The DSEX index reached its highest point in about two and a half months. Earlier, on February 13, the DSEX index reached the highest position of 6,271 points.

Cement sector companies were ahead in price increase in Dhaka market on Tuesday. Heidelberg Cement, a multinational company in the cement sector, was at the top of the price increase on this day. The company‍‍`s share price has increased by 20 percent or 38 taka to 217 taka in the last two days. This is the highest market value of the company‍‍`s shares in the last nine months. Apart from this, Aramit Cement and Premier Cement were on the top list of price increase. Among these, the price of Aramit cement has increased by 2 taka 20 paisa or 10 percent and the price of premier cement has increased by more than 3 taka 60 paisa or 7.5 percent.
