Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the United States shelters criminals in the name of democracy. Despite repeated requests, they (US) did not extradict the assassins of Bangabandhu.
She made the remark on Tuesday (December 28) while unveiling the covers of a research based Mujib memorial book titled "Bangabandhu and the Judiciary" and a Mujib Borsho souvenir "Nyay Kontho" (Voice of Justice) published by the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
The premier joined the event virtually from her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital.
