Counselor of the US Department of State Derek Chollet has met Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman and discussed the issues of mutual interest including the Rohingya crisis.
"US relationship with Bangladesh is guided by our shared commitment to democracy and we work together to seek durable solutions for Rohingya," Chollet tweeted after meeting held in the USA on Wednesday.
Issues related to "free and fair" elections and human rights in Bangladesh were also discussed.
