Prices for gas and electricity will increase in first week of March

Prices for gas and electricity are expected to rise starting in the first week of March. 

Nasrul Hamid, the Minister of State for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, revealed the plan on Tuesday at his Secretariat office.

According to the minister, power costs will rise by 34 paisa per unit and might eventually rise by 70 paisa for higher-level users. 

But only those that generate power will see an increase in gas prices.
