Three members of a family including a minor boy have been killed when a motorcycle carrying them collided head-on with a local bus in Natore's Lalpur upazila.
The deceased are motorcyclist Sohag Mian, 27, his son Ivan Ali, 5, and his father Shahidul Islam, 60.
Baraigram Circle Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sharif Al Rajib said the incident took place at Battala area of Lalpur Deborpara Shrine around 3:30pm on Friday.
ASP Sharif said the motorcyclist Sohag Mian and his son Ivan Ali died on the spot, and his father Shahidul Islam died on the way to the hospital.
Police seized the bus but the driver and his helper managed to flee the scene.
