Veteran freedom fighter Mujibur Rahman passed away at Faridpur Medical College and Hospital this morning at 8:00 am. He was 76.
He had been in the intensive care unit (ICU) for the past four days, suffering from cancer for several years.
He was a student of the Geography Department of Dhaka University (1971 batch). However, his studies were halted due to the Liberation War. He graduated in 1973.
He dedicated his life to many nation development initiatives until his death.
