The Commonwealth Pre-Election Observation Team discussed election laws, rules and procedures and polling day traffic. Since this is their leading party, they will give a report. In this regard, they will report to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth will then decide whether or not to send observers. Election Commission Secretary Jahangir Alam said this at a press briefing on Sunday.

However, noting that there was no political discussion, Secretary Jahangir Alam said, they did not ask any questions about politics. It is just a discussion about the method of the election and how it will be executed.

The pre-election delegation of the Commonwealth has come to observe the situation ahead of the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections. The meeting started at 10 am on Sunday in the main Election Commission meeting room of Agargaon Election Commission building.

The meeting was attended by Commonwealth Political Department Executive Officer Zippy Ojago, Political Adviser Lindiwi Malelekha, Associate Research Officer Sarthak Roy and Political Adviser and Chief Linford Andrews. On the other hand, apart from the Chief Election Commissioner, other Election Commissioners and senior officials of the EC are present on behalf of the Election Commission.
