On Wednesday (December 1), in a 24-hour count Bangladesh reported two more deaths from Covid-19. The country also reported 282 fresh cases in the last day.
With the latest developement, the aggregate number of Covid-19 deaths rose to 27,983, meanwhile the tally of Covid-19 infections now stands at 1,576,566.
During the same period, health authorities also reported 383 recoveries. With this, the total number of recoveries have reached 1,541,348.
A total 18,851 samples were tested at 846 labs across the country during the 24-hour period, yielding a positivity rate of 1.5%.
The figures were reported between Tuesday 8:00 am and Wednesday 8:00 am.
The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine bulletin.
