A total of 29 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka in the past 24 hours till Friday morning amid a rise in the cases of the moqsuito-borne disease.
Shockingly, all of them new patients are in the capital city.
With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year rose to 1,376 while some 1,254 patients were released from hospitals, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
The first death from dengue was reported on June 21, this year.
