12 more people have died from coronavirus infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit and ICU of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Tuesday (June 29) to 8:00am today, Wednesday (June 30).
Of the 12 deaths, five were coronavirus positive while the remaining seven died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.
Of the dead, eight were in Rajshahi district, two in Chapainawabganj, one each in Natore and Naogaon, he said.
A total of 390 people have, so far, died at the corona unit of the hospital in the last 36 days starting from June 24.
