IPL Auction: Shakib listed at highest base price

After having been banned for a year, Shakib Al Hasan has made the ultimate comeback in the world of cricket. He is the player to have on your team should your team be under pressure. His all-round skills in bowling and batting make him an undeniable asset and he has put himself in the auction pool for IPL 2021. His base price is a whooping Rs 2 crore.

A total of 1097 players registered for the money-spinning T20 league by the deadline of February 4 but only five Bangladeshi players including Shakib registered for IPL. The IPL 2021 auction is scheduled to take place on February 18 in Chennai.

The Bangladeshi all rounder is one of the 11 players to be listed at the highest base price. The others are:

Kedar Jadhav, Harbhajan Singh, Glenn Maxwell, , Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy, Mark Wood, Colin Ingram, Steven Smith, Moeen Ali and Sam Billings.
