Musk says SpaceX will keep funding Ukraine Starlink

A day after declaring that his rocket company, SpaceX, would no longer be able to pay Starlink's internet service in Ukraine, Elon Musk now claims that SpaceX will continue to do so.

"The hell with it... Even though Starlink is still losing money & other companies are getting billions of taxpayer $, we'll just keep funding Ukraine govt for free," he tweeted.

For the military and people of Ukraine to remain online, Starlink has proven essential.

After Russian attacks, Ukraine claims it assisted in reactivating important infrastructure.

More than 100 Russian missiles targeted various targets last week, including energy assets. Numerous low-Earth satellites and ground terminals make up Starlink.

"SpaceX is not asking to recoup past expenses, but also cannot fund the existing system indefinitely". Musk tweeted on Friday.

This week, Mr. Musk denied claims that he discussed his Twitter poll with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I have spoken to Putin only once and that was about 18 months ago. The subject matter was space," he tweeted.
