A female student of Eden College was beaten up by a female BCL leader of that same institute with a stump for protesting her misbehaviour on Tuesday.
The incident took place in room 506 of Bangmata Fazilatun Necha Hall of Eden mohila college last Tuesday evening.
The victim is a third year student of political science department.
The accused leader's name is Nuzhat Faria Roksana. She is the vice-president of Eden's Chhatra League. Apart from this, she is known as the 'right hand man' of BCL president Tamanna Jasmine Riva.
Earlier, Roksana had also been accused of beating another college leader and torturing students. News about this has also been spread in the media.
The victim student said, “Roksana traded seats in the hall. She keeps 20 girls in one room and abuses the female students with slangs.
In this incident, the witnesses have given a written complaint to the hall superintendent. In this they strongly supported the complaint of the victim.
However, Roksana denied the allegations and said that no such incident happened.
