A bus that had toppled near Kadda in the Gazipur district on Wednesday caused two hours of traffic delays on the Dhaka-Tangail route.
According to witnesses and police, ten persons, including the bus driver, were injured when the Nilphamari-to-Dhaka bus crashed due to heavy fog, after hitting a bridge`s railing.
Afterwards, the wounded were saved and taken to a hospital by villagers and police who had hurried to the scene.
Officer-in-charge of the Konabari Police Station Ziaul Islam reported that following the bus`s removal from the road, traffic on the highway resumed as usual.
