Notre Dame University holds CSE fest

Notre Dame University Bangladesh, one of the private universities in Bangladesh, concluded its CSE Fest 2023.

This is a 12-day event organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of the university with the support of Dhaka Bank Limited, that featured a variety of competitions and activities for students from different colleges and universities in Bangladesh.

Among the highlights of the event were programming contests, a STEM Olympiad, a videographic contest, a project show, and an Ideathon contest.

These activities provided participants with opportunities to showcase their skills and creativity in the field of computer science and engineering. The active participation of students from various institutions made the festival a resounding success, said a press release.

The closing ceremony of the fest was held on Saturday (October 14) at the university campus with a session titled Tech Talk conducted  by North South University Professor Dr Nova Ahmed.

Munir Hasan, Head of Youth Program at Bangla daily Prothom Alo, attended the programme as chief guest, while Professor Dr B M Moinul Hossain, Director at Institute of Information and Technology at Dhaka University, attended as a special guest, and Mohammad Abu Zafar, Acting Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited was the guest of honor.

During the ceremony, speakers praised Notre Dame University Bangladesh for organizing such an event that encourages students to go beyond classroom studies and explore their talents.

The festival concluded with a captivating cultural program presented by the students of the university‍‍`s CSE department.
