Voice of Bangladeshi Students in China, a platform of Bangladeshi students studying in China, have formed a human chain pressing inoculation of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine on a priority basis.
During a post-human chain rally held at the frontier of Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Monday, they urged the Chinese embassy in Dhaka as well as the Bangladesh foreign ministry to take speedy measures to push the Chinese vaccine on their arms on priority basis and sending the students back to China asap.
Number of educated jobless people is increasing day by day. The problem condensed more for the MBBS students while many students fear of their graduation as there is hardly any opportunity of internship, speakers of the rally said.
“Chinese government said we will be able to return to China only following the inoculation of the Chinese jab. So, we have only one demand to push the vaccine on a priority basis”, said the platform’s coordinator Fazle Rabbi.
“We have filed written application repeatedly with the foreign ministry. The assured us of taking action. But there is no visible move made yet. Hence, we took to the street”, added he.
