Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today warned that those who were involved in the killing of former Motijheel Thana Awami League General Secretary Zahidul Islam Tipu and college student Samia Afrin Preeti will be brought to book, reports BSS.
“None will be spared as the government has asked to take action against those who were responsible for the killing of Tipu and Preeti,” he told reporters at his residence here this evening.
He said legal action would be also be taken against those who were behind the scene of the incident. Members of law enforcers including RAB and DB are working to arrest the killers and unearth the mystery of the murder.”
Kamal said a case has been filed in connection with the murder of Zahidul Islam Tipu. Police has also been preparing another case as the college student Preeti was killed in the same incident.
Unidentified assailants have gunned down Tipu, 54, and Preeti, 18, in city’s Shahjahanpur area last night.
