Bangla daily Dainik Jugantor’s senior reporter Habibur Rahman Khan died of a heart attack on Tuesday afternoon.
His wife Farzana Mahmud Sony confirmed the media outlet Jugantor over phone that Habibur felt sick around 4 pm and suddenly started vomiting. He was then rushed to the National Heart Foundation.
The doctors pronounced him dead, she added.
Habibur’s Family, friends and colleagues cannot accept the untimely passing away of Habibur. He left behind many relatives and well-wishers including wife, one son, one daughter.
Habibur did his graduation and post graduation from Dhaka University. After completing his studies, he concentrated on journalism. He used to cover political stories. Even on the day of his death, the back page lead story of Jugantor was written by him.
Habibur Rahman Khan was a member of National Press Club, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Dhaka union of Journalists and Dhaka Reporters Unity.
