Ashraful Hossain aka Hero Alam, the popular face of social media, is once again vocal about the demands of his area. He held a press conference to protest the cancellation of the venue along with the withdrawal of goods and manpower from Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogura.
There he said, a class of people are working as a syndicate. They don't want Bogura Stadium to remain. Gambling, fairs and cattle-goat markets are underway to make the stadium non-functional. Hero Alam also criticized the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for canceling the venue and removing the goods from Chandu Stadium. He demanded the return of the goods and demanded that the game be resumed in the field as before.
Hero Alam spoke about the stadium in response to questions from journalists after the human chain at the gate of Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Khandar area of Bogura city today at 12:15 pm. Later he watched a Premier League game in progress at the stadium.
Hero Alam addressed the BCB and said, "All the goods that have been taken from us should be explained to us." We want to see the same kind of games in this stadium as it is played here every year in different districts. There has been no international game at Bogura Stadium for 15 years, we want to see an international game
