An explosion occurred during the repair of a gas line in Gandaria area of Old Dhaka. Three people, including a woman and a child, were burnt.
The explosion was reported at around 9:30 am today.
Duty Officer of Fire Service Lima Khanom told the media that two units of Fire Service from Sutrapur Station reached the spot after receiving the information about the explosion. However, details about the explosion are not yet available.
The burn victims have been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
