As many as 13 thousand 7 patients are hospitalised at various hospitals across the country including the capital Dhaka from January till the date this year. Out of them, 11 thousand 708 recovered.
Some 317 patients were admitted to hospitals in last 24 hours. Of them 259 are in Dhaka while 58 outside.
With this the total number of dengue patients undergoing treatment stands at 245.
The data has been revealed by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the health department on Thursday (September 9).
Among 317 patients hospitalised in last 24 hours, 100 were taken at various government and autonomous hospitals while 159 at private hospitals and clinics.
In July 2,286 people were diagnosed with Dengue and 12 died while in June 272 cases were recorded with no deaths.
The number of dengue patients hospitalised in a single day was the highest with 343 patients on 7 September.
Health authorities have been recording over 200 dengue cases per day since 1 August.
