Committee formed to scrutinize Biman question paper leak

A committee has been formed by the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation on Thursday to carry out an investigation into the recent Biman Bangladesh Airlines question paper leak incident during a recruitment exam.

The probe will be lead by Md Mohidul Islam, additional secretary (Biman and Civil Aviation) at the ministry.

The two other members of the committee are Deputy Secretary Anup Kumar Talukder at CA-1 and joint secretary Zahidul islam director (admin) at Biman.

The committee will also look into other irregularities of Biman Bangladesh.

Earlier on October 29, a Dhaka court placed five employees and officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on two-day remand each for their alleged involvement in disclosing an enrolment question paper prior to the exam.

On October 21, the recruitment examinations for 100 posts of the national carrier agency were suspended due to the allegations of question leak.
