A fire broke out in a tire warehouse near the railway line in Chittagong's Dewanhat area. 12 units of fire service are working to control the fire.
After receiving information at 12:45 pm today , fire control operation started, according to the Deputy Director of fire service Md. Abdul Hamid Mia.
Mobilizing Officer of Chittagong Fire Service Kofil Uddin said, The fire incident occurred in an abandoned tire warehouse under Dewanhat Bridge in the city. The fire is still not under control. We have 12 units working to bring it under control."
Stating that it will take time to bring the fire under control, he said that there is no possibility of the fire spreading elsewhere.
