Hostage Bangladeshi sailors, held captive by Somali pirates, marked Eid-ul-Fitr with prayers conducted at the ship`s dock at around 11 am Bangladesh time on Wednesday. Following the prayers, they captured moments of camaraderie with group photos.
Sources report that the Bangladeshi vessel MV Abdullah remains in Somali waters, where Eid-ul-Fitr is also being observed on Wednesday. Notably, the pirates granted permission for the sailors to gather at the ship`s dock for Eid prayers. Additionally, arrangements have been made to provide special food for the sailors to commemorate the occasion of Eid.
