25 more people have died from coronavirus infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Tuesday (July 13) to 8:00am today, Wednesday (July 14).
Of the 25 deaths, seven were coronavirus positive and 18 died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus, he said.
Of the dead, 12 were in Rajshahi district, two in Naogaon, three in Natore, three in Pabna, three in Chapainawabganj, one in Kushtia and one in Jashore, he added.
With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 248 in 14 days of this month.
A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.
