A huge blaze broke this evening following another explosion on the Sagar Nandini-2 oil tanker on the Sugandha river in Jhalakathi, injuring at least ten people.
Another blast at the vessel killed four people and injured four more on Saturday.
According to Mohammad Selim, joint director of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), the fire broke out around 6:30pm when preparations were being made to dump 4 lakh tonnes of petrol from the tanker.
Selim further said he was 200 meters away from the location of the incident and had to leave due to the severity of the fire.
