Ronaldo says he‍‍`s been ‍‍`betrayed‍‍` by MU

In a recent TV interview, Cristiano Ronaldo attacked Manchester United and its manager Erik ten Hag, claiming that he felt "betrayed" by the team and that senior staff members had attempted to oust him from Old Trafford.

The interview will air this week on TalkTV in Britain, but preview clips were made available late on Sunday, only hours after United‍‍`s final match before the World Cup. Ronaldo was left out of the team for the second straight game due to an unexplained illness, according to the club, but the Portugal star‍‍`s most recent words will fuel rumors that he has played his last match for the team.

During the program he was asked “Piers Morgan Uncensored” whether United’s hierarchy was trying to force him out of the club, Ronaldo said: “Yes, not only the coach, but another two or three guys around the club. I felt betrayed.”

The 37-year-old Portugal star said: “I don’t care. People should listen to the truth.

“Yes, I felt betrayed and I felt like some people don’t want me here, not only this year, but last year too.”
