Mashrafe leaves BPL to take charge as whip in National Parliament

Sylhet Strikers captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has taken a break from the ongoing BPL to take charge of the whip in the National Parliament.

Sylhet Strikers have lost 5 consecutive matches in the current BPL season. The team‍‍`s pacer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is unable to bowl regularly due to injury. He is not even fit to play the match. However, the former captain of the national team was criticized from the beginning for playing. This time, Mashrafe took a break from the current BPL by himself.

He took this decision for taking charge as the whip in the National Parliament.

Mashrafe will be available to play for the Strikers further in the season if there is opportunity in between his political commitments and schedule.

In absence of Mashrafe, Sylhet Strikers’ vice-captain Mohammad Mithun will be the captain of the team.

Sylhet Strikers franchise has extended gratitude to Mashrafe for his commitment to the team in the tournament so far and looks forward to have him back when he is able.
