Jatiya Party won’t resign from JS: Chunnu

Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu has said their party does not wage a movement to oust the government, rather it is waging a movement to show the flaws of the government to continue the democratic trend, reports BSS.

“Jatiya Party has no link with whether BNP will resign from parliament or not. Jatiya Party is waging a movement for government transition through polls. Jatiya Party will not resign from parliament,” he said while talking to BSS today.

He said BNP is doing politics as per their political strategy and ideology. Jatiya Party's political ideology is different from BNP, he added.

Chunnu said BNP lawmakers urged Jatiya Party to resign from parliament, but “we have no link with the call”.

Jatiya Party has its own political ideology and it is waging movement as per its own political strategy and ideology, he added.
