Former Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur has been forcibly released from a private hospital in the city after BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to visit him.
Nur, the fractional president of Gono Odhikar Parishad was injured in the reported attack by Chhatra League – which denied by the ruling party’s student wing – on Wednesday carried out at the TSC area of Dhaka University.
The allegation of forcibly releasing Nur was brought up by Md Rashed Khan, general secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad in a Facebook live video.
Mirza Fakhrul visited Nur at Universal Medical College Hospital (formerly Ayesha Memorial) in the capital on Thursday afternoon. Fakhrul asked him about his physical condition.
