State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that to establish peace in the world, the path of Ramakrishna and the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda should be established.
He came up with this while addressing as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the roof casting of Ramakrishna Temple in Bochaganj Upazila of Dinajpur district on Thursday.
The state minister said, “Russia-Ukraine war is a big festival of arms sales which created unrest in the whole world. There is no substitute for the path of Ramakrishna and the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda for establishing peace in the earth.”
Bochaganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Chanda Pal presided over the ceremony while Mayor of Setabganj Municipality Md Aslam, Dinajpur Sri Sri Ramakrishna Mission's Maharaj Samand and leaders of administration and local chapter of Awami League spoke at the program.
The Minister of State for Shipping later distributed musical instruments among various educational institutions of Bochaganj Upazila.
