The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun said that the law enforcement forces have learned about the plan of the saboteurs regarding the 12th National Parliament Election on January 7.

He said that the law and order forces have come to know about the plan of saboteurs around the elections. On the election day, they have planned to create panic among the people by making loud explosions.

He gave this information at the security briefing organized at Wills Little Flower School and College in the capital on Friday noon.

The IGP said the vandals had planned to create a fearful situation among people by making loud noises or exploding cocktails. We have received information about their plans and have prepared accordingly. Hopefully they will not be able to spread such fear.
