Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina reached Mithamin in Kishoreganj by helicopter around 11.00am after more than two decades.
The Premier is all set to inaugurate the Freedom Fighter Abdul Hamid Cantonment.
She will also attend the lunch invitation at village home of President Abdul Hamid at Kamalpur.
The premier will also attend an Awami League rally.
Thousands of leaders, activists and supporters of Awami League and its associate bodies from different parts of the district gathering at the rally venue in a fleet of reserved buses, pickups, motorcycles.
Kishoreganj is fully in festive mood to welcome Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.
Colorful posters and banners of PM have been set in the whole town with giant decorative gates. Leaders and activists have already reached Kishoregonj to welcome PM. Earlier, Sheikh Hasina visited Kishoreganj in 1998.
