Two people were killed as a stone carrying truck rammed into a stationary ruck in Dinajpur early Monday.
The deceased were identified as truck driver Shilu Mia and helper Saiful Islam. They were residents of Kushtia.
Mozaffar Hossain, sub-inspector (SI) of Ghoraghat police station said, the accident occurred around 3:30am when the stone-laden truck rammed into another sand-laden truck.
The helper of the stone-laden truck was dead on spot. The driver is undergoing treatment at Upazila Health Complex, the SI added.
