Another Bangladeshi youth lost his leg in a landmine explosion near the Myanmar frontier at Naikhongchhari of Bandarban.
The injured is Abdul Kader, 27, a resident of Chherakum area in Dochhari union.
Md Imran, chairman of the Union Parishad, said several other organs of his body including eyes were also damaged in the explosion.
Kader stepped on the mine when he drifted across the border to bring back his cows around 8:00pm on Tuesday.
He is being treated at Chattogram Medical College Hospital as his condition was stated to be critical.
The first incident had taken place less than three weeks ago.
