Operation of the Israeli goes on, 6 Palestinians killed

The Israeli army has once again launched an operation in the occupied West Bank of Palestine. At least six Palestinians were killed in their operation in the city of Jenin. 11 others were injured.

This information was given in a statement by the Ministry of Health of Palestine on Tuesday.

Two of the injured are in critical condition, according to the statement of the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army said in a statement that operations are still ongoing in the Jenin refugee camp. The army did not mention any more details.

Israeli administration officials have confirmed the casualties. They said that their operation is being conducted because of the killing of two Israeli citizens near the check point in the occupied West Bank village of Huara a week ago. They said they were directly involved in the killing of an Israeli citizen among those killed in Jenin.

To avenge the incident, a group of Israeli settlers attacked Huara village that night. During this time, they burned hundreds of houses of Palestinians living in the village.

This operation of the Israeli security forces started on Tuesday. Before the start of the operation, the army said it had received intelligence from secret sources that a "significant number of rioters" had taken refuge in refugee camps in Huara and the neighboring towns of Jenin and Nabalus.

Tuesday‍‍`s operation is the latest in a series of arrests by the Israeli military in the northern West Bank, as violence and deaths in the occupied territories rise to the highest levels seen in years. Over the past year of almost daily Israeli military operations, the densely populated Jenin refugee camp has emerged as a hub of activity.
