The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams will be released by 30 November. Proposals have been sent by the education boards to publish the results on any day between November 28-30.
Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board chairman and inter-education board coordination sub-committee president Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed the matter to the media on Thursday.
A proposal has been sent by the education boards to publish the results any day within the last three days of this month. The result will be published on the day that the Prime Minister gives the time between these three date, he said.
As many as 9 General Education Boards, Madrasahs and Technical Education Boards together have a total of more than 20 lakh candidates for SSC and equivalent exams this year. Out of the total number of candidates in the examination, held in 3 thousand 790 centers, only about 16 lakh SSC candidates are under the General Education Boards.
The SSC and equivalent exams started on 15 September. The SSC and equivalent exams were held after a long delay due to the Coronavirus pandemic and floods. Usually the result is published within 60 days of the completion of the examination.
