Renowned star Tahsan, actor Mithila and Shabnam Faria can be arrested anytime in a case filed over helping e-commerce platform Evaly in fraudulence and grabbing money.
Sazzadur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Ramna division told this to the media on Friday (December 10).
Sad Sam Rahman, an Evaly customer, filed the case with Dhanmondi police station on December 4 (Saturday) against nine people including Tahsan, Mithila and Faria.
According to the case statement, “Huge amount of cash was grabbed by fraudulence. The amount is taka 3 lakh 18 thousand which could not be refunded yet.”
Investigation officer of the case Md. Razib Hasan said, “Evaly chairman Shamima Nasrin and Managing Director Mohammad Rassel have been shown arrested in the case. We are looking into the matter about the rest accused. Legal actions will be taken accordingly if their involvement is found during the investigation.”
Both singer Tahsan and actor Rafiat Rashid Mithila were goodwill ambassadors of the ecommerce site while Sabnam Faria worked as the public relations officer.
