The high court has ordered Rakibul Hasan, a sacked Trainee Officer of Janata Bank and accused of fraudulence in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), to surrender to the judicial court within four weeks.
A bench of justice Md. Nazrul Islam Talukderand justice AKM Jahirul Haque passed the order on Monday (November 22).
Lawyer Liton Dutt represented the defence while Md. Khurshid Alam Khan presented arguments on behalf of the ACC. Alongside, deputy attorney general AKM Amin Uddin Manik, assistant Attorney General Anna Khanom Koly and Saifur Rahmain Siddique Saif were present at prosecution.
